Naveen Bhaskar is an Indian actor, writer, and director who has built characters on screen, written for some of Indian TV's best-known shows, and directed films, documentaries, and short films under his own banner, Bittu Films.
As an actor, he has appeared in films including Sanju, Khakee, and The Legend of Bhagat Singh, and carried long-running roles in popular series such as Mere Sai and Muskaan - the kind of parts that ask you to live inside a character for hundreds of episodes. That range, from a single pivotal scene to a years-long role, sits at the center of how he thinks about the craft.
As a writer and director, he is drawn to the stories that matter most to him. His book 81 Miles… A True Untold Story traces the human cost of the India-Pakistan Partition and is being adapted as a web series, and he is directing films based on his own books, Hekdi and Niptara - carrying a story from the page to the screen and shaping every stage in between.
